"You can't live in your camper. Move in. I'll rent you the upstairs room at the back of the house."
"What about Good Man Husband?"
"He told me it will be fun."
"Did he?"
"No, but this rambling old house is big enough, and it will make me happy, so he said we should try it. Besides, you and I, we excelled at communal living in our commune days."
"So, okay, maybe just until I find another job."
"You never know, the schools in this town may come to their senses and, realizing there is more to life than STEM, rush out and hire an art teacher."
And that's how it begins. Two old hippie friends, Vivie and Estella, in the later half of middle age, decide to live by old vows of art and creativity.
